Layout and Interior

Once on board, you’ll immediately notice how much living space this Aquanaut offers given its length. The combination of an aft cabin and an open cockpit creates a practical layout in which the various living areas are clearly separated from one another. The spacious open cockpit forms the central part of the boat. This is where the helm is located, which offers a good view of the water thanks to the large windows all around. The cockpit is furnished with multiple seats and can be completely enclosed using the awning. This creates a sheltered living space that remains fully usable even in inclement weather. The cockpit cover was replaced in 2023, and its windows can be blacked out. A replacement fly screen is also available for the rear window. For the winter months, a separate white plastic winter cover is included to protect the regular cockpit cover. From the cockpit, you can access the forward cabin. Here you’ll find a cozy dinette with a table, the galley, and sleeping quarters in the bow. Thanks to the many windows all around, the interior enjoys an abundance of natural light. The sleeping arrangements provide space for five people in fixed berths, with the capacity expandable to approximately seven people. The custom-made mattresses also come with mattress toppers.

Galley

The galley is practically laid out and has everything needed for a longer stay on board. The kitchen is equipped with a 3-burner gas stove from 2021, a refrigerator from 2021, and a stainless steel sink. The stainless steel faucet was recently replaced in 2026. In addition, the vessel has a hot water heater from 2021.

Bathroom

On board, there is a separate toilet compartment with a manually operated Jabsco marine toilet. The vessel has a holding tank with a capacity of approximately 100 liters. The fresh water supply is approximately 160 liters.

Engine and Propulsion

A major advantage of this Aquanaut is its relatively new engine. A new Craftsman CM4.42 diesel engine was installed in 2023. The engine currently has only about 166 operating hours. At the same time, the water-lubricated propeller shaft bearing was also replaced. The hydraulic steering system ensures comfortable handling, and thanks to the bow thruster installed in 2021, the vessel is easy to maneuver even in harbors and locks. The diesel tank has a capacity of approximately 160 liters.

Electrical System

The electrical system has also been expanded and adapted to ensure a comfortable stay on board. Among other features, the vessel is equipped with a 230V shore power connection, a battery charger, various USB ports, and a 1,000-watt inverter. The power supply consists of one starter battery, two accessory/service batteries, and a separate battery for the bow thruster. In addition, there are two solar panels, each with a capacity of 220 Wp. These are connected to a Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 75/15 charge controller, which allows energy to be supplied even when the boat is at anchor without shore power.

Exterior

The Aquanaut has undergone upgrades in recent years, both technically and cosmetically. In 2022, both the hull and the superstructure were repainted. In 2024, the underwater hull was treated and coated with new antifouling. At the stern is a swim platform with a stainless steel swim ladder installed in 2022. The boat is also equipped with stainless steel railings, stainless steel cleats, and stainless steel bollards. The davit mounts are still in place; however, the davits themselves are no longer part of the equipment. In 2026, the cabin locks and nameplates, among other items, were replaced. Five new mooring lines are also included.

Upgrades

This Aquanaut has undergone significant upgrades in recent years. The interior was renovated in 2021, followed by a repainting of the hull and superstructure in 2022. In 2023, one of the largest investments was made: the installation of the new Craftsman diesel engine and the replacement of parts of the propulsion system. Maintenance has continued since then, including treatment of the underwater hull and antifouling in 2024, as well as various minor upgrades in 2026.
